Here’s a choice we can get into.

Thom Yorke has been tapped to score the upcoming remake of Dario Argento’s classic Suspiria, Variety reports. The remake is directed Luca Guadagnino (I Am Love) and stars Tilda Swinton, Dakota Johnson and Chloe Grace Moretz. It is currently in post-production, having recently wrapped filming.

This will be Yorke’s second time working on a film score. In 2015, he and Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja produced the soundtrack for documentary UK Gold.

“Thom’s art transcends the contemporary. To have the privilege of his music and sound for Suspiria is a dream come true,” director Guadagnino said of Yorke. “The depth of his creation and artistic vision is sos unique that our Suspiria will sound groundbreaking and will deeply resonate with viewers. Our goal is to make a movie that will be a disturbing and transforming experience: for this ambition, we could not find a better partner.”

Yorke has undeniably huge shoes to fill, having to follow up Goblin’s iconic film score. Revisit it in the trailer for the 1977 original below.
