Coming later this month.

Colleen’s melancholic A flame my love, a frequency, her seventh studio album, may not be out until next Friday, October 20, but the album is streaming today ahead of the release.

The album is return to form of sorts for Colleen who used an entirely electronic set up including Moog pedals and Critter & Guitari synths, Pocket Piano and Septavox. It is similar to the work of her past but with a contemporary outlook, as it was inspired by the November 2015 terrorist attack in Paris. The writing process for the album was part of her healing after witnessing such devastation.

Listen to the album over at NPR First Listen and check out North American tour dates.
