33 33 sees two experimental titans unite on one album.

Factory Floor’s Nik Void and Editions Mego founder Peter Rehberg have debuted a new collaborative project, NPVR.

The duo’s first album together is called 33 33, and was recorded in London in July 2017. It will arrive on Editions Mego, which describes the album as blurring the lines between techno, ambient, avant-garde and noise.

Both Void and Rehberg have a strong history of collaboration: Void has been a member of Factory Floor since 2010, and has also made two albums with Throbbing Gristle’s Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti as Carter Tutti Void. Rehberg, who is also known for his solo project Pita, has worked with Jim O’Rourke, Christian Fennesz and Stephen O’Malley among others over the years.

33 33 is released on January 12, 2018. Listen to album track ‘Meantime (Part 4)’ below.
