“What a profound and nourishing trip this has been.”

Björk has shared the release date and album artwork for her ninth album Utopia.

Co-produced by Arca, Utopia is due out on November 24 via One Little Indian. The artwork has been designed by Jesse Kanda and maintains Björk’s tradition of featuring a portrait of herself on the cover. See the artwork below.

The Icelandic artist initially revealed the album title in a Facebook Live interview with Nowness where she said she settled on the title after “a thousand name suggestions.”

“The last album, we sort of call it ‘hell’ — it was like divorce. So we are doing paradise now. Utopia,” she explained at the time. Earlier in the year, she described it as her “Tinder record”.

Utopia features previously released single ‘The Gate.’
