The Caliph’s Tea Party is a new album from Warp Records compiling recent remixes of Gonjasufi.
The original tracks are all from Gonjasufi’s Warp debut A Sufi And A Killer, which was released in early 2010 and featured production from Fyling Lotus and The Gaslamp Killer. Twelve different remixers contribute to the collection, notably rangy beat-maker Mark Pritchard, pop-hauntologists Broadcast & The Focus Group, Boston synth wizard Oneohtrix Point Never and neo-downbeat maestro Bibio.

Gonjasufi (pictured above) will play London’s Elektrowerkz with The Gaslimp Killer on September 6; it’s the raspy Californian’s first ever UK show. Tickets available here.
