Alec Empire, the guiding hand behind camp German electro-industrial types Atari Teenage Riot, is heading to the UK for a selection of live dates, with support from techno hams Motor.

Empire has just come off tour supporting Nine Inch Nails, and his stock seems to be at a new high following the release of his acclaimed mini-album Shivers and his production/writing job on Patrick Wolf’s single ‘Vultures’. Collaborations with Major Lazer, Saul Williams and Dillinger Escape Plan will follow later this year.

The Berliner will also be releasing a new download-only single entitled ‘1000 Eyes’. It’s taken from his 2008 soundtrack for  Richard Wilhelmer’s short animated film The Golden Foretaste of Heaven. Check the trailer below; tour dates follow.
