Much-loved harpist / singer-songwriter / indie kid pin-up Joanna Newsom has announced two shows at London’s Royal Festival Hall this May, on the 11th and 12th of the month.

Her return to the Southbank Centre is in support of her new triple album for Drag City, Have One on Me, the follow-up to 2006’s Ys, one of FACT’s favourite albums of the last decade.

For these shows Newsom will be joined by the UK’s Roy Harper. Doors open to the shows at 7.30pm; tickets range from £22.50 to £27.50, and go on sale from this Thursday (today to Southbank Centre members).

Have One on Me is released on March 1.

Update: Newsom will also be playing the next All Tomorrow’s Parties, curated by Simpsons man Matt Groening. Full details here.
