Last year Florence Welch and her apparently unstoppable machine was remixed to great effect by the xx. To such great effect, in fact, that it made top 20 in our tracks of the year countdown for 2009.

This year, Breakage gets to have a go – at Florence’s single ‘Dog Days are Over’. Breakage comes from the world of drum’n’bass but has now worked with Skream, Newham Generals, David Rodigan and – wait for it – Burial, so it’s fair to say he’s building a name for himself pretty rapidly.

His new album, Foundation is out later this year – ’til then you can soak up this free download of his Florence mix. Between you and us, it’s about a billion times better than ‘You got the Dirtee Love’.
