This Thursday, Jamie xx and Quayola will collaborate live in London on Structures, a four-hour audio-visual performance in Shoreditch.

Quayola, who’s exhibited at the V&A and the Royal Albert Hall in the past, uses his own custom-built software, Partitura, to convert sound into images and manipulate them in real time. According to a press release, the performance – part of Rizla’s new RizLab music project – promises “a 360-degree immersive visual experience” on 17 metre HD screens.
