Later this month, London producer Patten will release a quite remarkable debut album, GLAQJO XAACSSO, for No Pain in Pop.

A twisted voyage through warped basslines and unique takes on compression, it obviously recalls the squashed house music of Actress, but there’s also touches of classic Plaid, the distortion-heavy pop of My Bloody Valentine and more.
