Tensnake launches new label, True Romance

Disco-besotted German producer Tensnake has another label project in the works.

Marco Niemerski already has a label under his belt, Mirau, under whose auspices he’s hosted the likes of cheery boogie house producer Iron Curtis and funky fusionist Erdbeerschnitzel. The ‘Coma Cat’/’Something About You’ producer now has a supplementary label project on the go, the quixotically titled True Romance.

True Romance will launch with a new Tensnake single, ’58BPM’ – his first since last year’s split with Flashmob for Defected. The track comes with a remix from delicate house producer Mano Le Tough – who, as it happens, issued 2010’s Eurodancer EP on Mirau. ’58BPM’ will arrive exclusively on vinyl, features vocals from Fiora, and, as demonstrated by the trailer video below, sees the producer get his slow jam on – the results share more genetic material with How To Dress Well than, say, Soundstream.

’58BPM’ is due this week. Tensnake’s serotonin-packed FACT Mix is almost a year old – head here to listen. [via Resident Advisor]
