Mo Kolours releases debut album as pay-what-you-want download – stream it now

The rising producer sates fans who missed out on physical copy.

After making an impression with three ace EPs of sun-dappled, dubbed-out funk shapes in three years on the One-Handed Music label, singer and producer Mo Kolours has released his self-titled debut album on Bandcamp.

The digital album has been made available as a pay-what-you-want download after CD and vinyl copies sold out via pre-orders.

For his debut, Joseph Deenmamode says he was inspired by British groups like The Specials and Cymande, who put their own stamp on the sounds of ska, funk and calypso coming from overseas in the ’70s. He’s also at the controls for this week’s RA podcast.
