Busta Rhymes also performed with the legendary hip-hop crew – who had a message for Donald Trump.

A Tribe Called Quest collaborated with Anderson .Paak and Busta Rhymes at last night’s Grammy Awards, in performance that hit out at “president agent orange” Donald Trump.

Rapper Consequence also joined Tribe onstage as they powered through classic cuts as well as new material from farewell album We Got It from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service. It was during ‘We The People’ that Busta Rhymes protested the newly elected president. Watch the footage below, via The FADER.

Tribe’s performance almost looked a lot different – Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl was originally supposed to perform with the group, after an announcement on the official Twitter account of the Grammys. However, this announcement was quickly backtracked on, with the Grammys issuing the following statement: “Earlier this week, we announced that Dave Grohl would be performing with Anderson .Paak and A Tribe Called Quest prior to confirming all participants. Dave Grohl will not be part of this performance. Unfortunately, our announcement was made prematurely.”

Most importantly, Rihanna seemed to enjoy the set.
