“How is he an urban artist?!”

For their first-ever collaboration, Kurupt FM have teamed up with “one of the biggest urban artists in the world.” Is it Stormzy or Wiley, they ask? Nope – it’s Ed Sheeran, fresh from recently taking over the world with his latest album ÷

The BBC tweeted a preview of the Red Nose Day sketch today, which sees the fake pirate radio crew attempt to pull off the impossible – “make Ed Sheeran less shit.”

During the skit, the trio find themselves in a recording studio with Sheeran. Faced with the task of remixing his recent track ‘What Do I Know?’, the People Just Do Nothing crew jump behind the mixing desk to work their magic on the tune. So far, we’ve only been treated to a preview of the result, which you can hear below, but it’s already sounding more interesting.

Tune into BBC One on March 24 at 7pm GMT to see the rest of the sketch and the premiere of the Kurupt FM featuring “Ed Sheerer” music video.
