Discwoman signee Riobamba provided the soundtrack to the A/W 2019 show from Chromat at New York Fashion Week last Friday (February 8).
The show, entitled Climatic, featured swimwear “made with sustainable fabric that uses regenerated nylon spun from fishing nets recovered from the world’s oceans”. To accompany the collection, Riobamba provided a tropical storm of a soundtrack, featuring FACT favorites DJ Florentino, SHYGIRL and, in a nod to last year’s Chromat show at NYFW, Lechuga Zafiro.
Climatic follows Chromat’s similarly aquatic Saturation show at NYFW from last year, which was soundtracked by Mobilegirl. Listen to Riobamba’s incredible FACT mix below.
