UK house stable Deep Teknologi were first profiled by FACT in January, as part of our Producers to Watch in 2010 feature.

The first quarter of the year has seen Deep Tek gather more and more acclaim, as well as live bookings, and this month T. Williams, one of the core artists in the faction will release his debut 12″ (under the T. Williams name, anyway) via Local Action, a new label ran in association with Soho’s Phonica Records.

A self-titled EP, it features three original productions from Williams – ‘Anthem’, ‘Afric’ and ‘Flooring’ – which have been supported by Sinden, 2562, Kode9, Ikonika, Greena, the Hessle Audio, Blunted Robots and Night Slugs crews and more. To hear sound samples of all three tracks, hit up the Local Action myspace and play them loud. The release is scheduled for late this month.

In other Deep Teknologi news, the last installment of the pair’s Sunday night Ustream session consisted of S.E.F and T. Williams building a track live on air with feedback and input from listeners. The results were given away as a free download, and can be snapped up below. T. Williams’ EP  artwork can be found below the link.
