We love Hackman at FACT, basically.
Driven by free-flowing basslines, technicolour melodies and gorgeous cut-up vocal hooks, the Selbourne producer’s been putting out fire since late last year, particular highlights coming from his contribution to Fabric’s Elevator Music compilation, ‘Pistol in my Pocket’, and the More than Ever EP for PTN, Ramp Recordings’ new house music label.
Oh, and this, a remix he’s done for Lemonade, the Brooklyn-via-San Francisco trio who’ve recorded for the excellent True Panther label. Lemonade’s ‘Lifted’ single is out this month, and features more remixes from the likes of Shortstuff and Ghosts on Tape.
