You might not know about Aera yet, so consider this an introduction.

In truth, we didn’t know about the Berlin-based producer until a month or so back, when he got in touch to send us the second EP on his own Aleph imprint, due out next week. It’s blinding, heady house music full of dizzying FX – fans of Floating Points, Kassem Mosse and, indeed, Teengirl Fantasy should be all over it.

We’ve probably played this record more than anything else in the FACT office of late, and today we’re giving you a chance to download ‘Hoverboarding’ and see why we’re so excited about this guy. You can hear the rest of the EP on Aera’s YouTube channel.
