Art-rock trailblazers These New Puritans are playing at London’s Barbican this Saturday, with support from Darkstar.
Not sure if you want to head out for some musical misery on a cold winter night? Well it’s gotta be cheerier than being Mordant Music – the hauntological rotters have got their hands on TNP’s ‘White Chords’, and here they remix it to typically wraithlike effect, with vocals curling their tails around radio masts and echoing through the night air. There’s even a touch of Gang Gang Dance in the percussion.
