Portishead have been announced as curators of ATP’s I’ll Be Your Mirror event at Alexandra Palace in London on July 23-24, 2011.

As well as having chosen the weekender’s line-up in collaboration with ATP, Portishead will headline, performing on both Friday 23 and Saturday 24 July.

The first round of supporting acts has been announced, with more to follow. Warming up for the West Country trio on the Friday will be MF Doom, Company Flow (featuring all original members), folktronic duo The Books, Beak> and Factory Floor. On Saturday Nick Caves’s Grinderman posse get involved, along with Beach House, Anika, Liars and the mighty Swans.

Tickets are £59 per day, or £100 for a weekend pass, and they go on sale this Friday 26 November over at atpfestival.com.

According to a post on their official website, Portishead currently have no plans to play any other UK dates in 2011, but do expect to perform in Europe in June/July and the US during September/October.
