Björk has revealed that she’s halfway through recording her new album.

The singer gave this update on the progress of the rec0rd – the follow-up to 2007’s Volta – to Icelandic newspaper Fréttablaðið, but declined to say any more on account of being “very superstitious”. She said: “I have had some bad experiences with a number of things before. I’m very superstitious. I go into the studio with a plan to go do what I have in mind, and then the idea is half dead”.

She also said that she plans to tour in Autumn 2011.
