Drum’n’bass stalwart Marcus Intalex is about to turn 21.

Not in age (that Barbour jacket ain’t fooling no one), but in terms of his DJing career. To celebrate, he’s releasing his first solo album, titled 21, and has compiled a pair of mixes – 21 Years Chapter 1 and, as if you couldn’t guess, Chapter 2. The first one was let out two months ago; we’re hosting the second one in FACT’s audio section.

Model 500, Carl Craig, A Guy Called Gerald, Reel 2 Reel, Virgo and more all feature, and you shouldn’t need us to tell you that they’re all people that should make you want to listen to it. 21 is due out later this month on triple-vinyl, CD and digital.

Marcus will also be headlining Fabric’s Room 2 as means of a launch party this Friday. Calibre, S.P.Y., dBridge, Lynx and Fierce join him, while Alexander Nut’s Eglo take over Room 3 with Benji B, Funkineven and more.
