A new exhibition of work by Alex Fakso opens at Notting Hill Arts Club next month.

Opening with a 6pm-9pm private view on Monday 2 May the show consists of floor-to-ceiling photographic prints of tunnels. Fakso started out as a skate photographer in the early 90s, but in recent years has focussed more on documenting graffiti artists in action, “from spraying on walls to working in tunnels, train and subway depots, sleeping on docks or simply existing in the underground chaos.”

His second book, Fast Or Die, has just been published in collaboration with 55DSL, and the clothing company are printing 300 limited edition T-shirts with photos and graphics from the book. On April 28, 6pm-9pm  the artist will be signing books and T-shirts, and displaying a selection of his photos, at the 55DSL store in Newburgh St, London W1F 8RN. Here, and also at the NHAC exhibition launch, there will be DJ sets from Mylon Dominican and Tizer One.
