On June 21, Laurel Halo will release the follow-up to last year’s sublime King Felix EP.

Titled Hour Logic, this new six-track EP offers something totally different from the Michigan-bred artist (now based in New York). Laurel’s singing has now become a ghostly afterthought, with the focus on warped grooves and ethereal electro overpasses. This is dance music with a focus on long-form hypnotism, but vitally, with the production skills to pull it off, and we couldn’t recommend it more.
