Dapper New York synth-pop duo Xeno & Oaklander will release a new album on October 11.

It’s entitled Sets & Lights and comes  courtesy of Wierd Records, NYC’s foremost stable for cold wave and minimal synth shenanigans. It will be available on CD, LP and digital, and marks a significant progression from their last record, the wonderful Sentinelle, showcasing a newfound confidence and ambition in its beautiful arrangements and punchy, pellucid instrumentation.

Xeno & Oaklander is the duo of Liz Wendelbo and Sean McBride; the latter also makes strident, Foxx/Numan-indebted electro-pop as Martial Canterel.
