You’ll probably recall the recent release of the Gabriel EP by Joe Goddard.

It’s easily the Hot Chip and 2 Bears man’s most mature solo work to date, and benefited from the vocal talents of Valentina (pictured above with Goddard). Now Greco-Roman, the label Goddard runs with Dom Bastyra and Alex Waldron, has commissioned remixes of the EP’s title track by Seiji, Peach Melba, Compound One and FACT favourite Ossie. The London house producer, responsible for the UKF anthem ‘Tarantula’ and more recently the fine Set The Tone EP on Hyperdub, has massaged the source material into a tough, mid-paced breakbeat house track, keeping Valentina’s voice centre-stage and framing it with dramatic string vamps for a truly epic dancefloor treatment.
