Burial returns with Kindred EP

Burial is back.

Hyperdub boss Kode9 has announced via his Twitter feed a new EP from the South London producer, entitled Kindred:

“HDB059 Burial – Kindred EP. Join Hyperdub mailing list for news. Vinyl/digital and def less than 25quid”

There hasn’t been anything about this sent to the Hyperdub mailing list as yet, but we’ll update you as soon as there is. Kindred will be Burial’s first original solo material to see the light of day since the Street Halo EP, released back in March of this year. In the interim he remixed Massive Attack for a limited edition 12″ release, and collaborated with Four Tet and Thom Yorke on a 12″, ‘Ego’/'Mirror’ for the former’s Text label.

Hopefully it’ll be better than that Thom Yorke crap.

Not sure if I find your name or your comment more perplexing. You take your medicine now.

Indeed…contrary to Fact, I thought the Massive Attack collab was even worse. Street Halo was a fine release though (as was the collab with 4TET)

I kinda like Mirror, hated Ego, and found the Massive Attack remix quite boring. Hopefully this one will live up to my wish

Wow, surprised to read the comments below about the Massive Attack rmx’s. I love those! More 12 minute Burial songs please!

I was at Warehouse Project on Saturday and Four Tet dropped this in his set, Definetley sounds like a Burial release to me, and it sounds amazing!
