As previously reported, Rene Pawlowitz is set to release his third album as Shed a little later this year.

Unlike his two previous full-lengths, Shedding The Past and The Traveller, the new record comes courtesy of Modeselektor’s 50Weapons label rather than Ostgut Ton – but Pawlowitz’s relationship with Ostgut is far from over.

For his new 12″ on the Ostgut, the Nick Höppner-A&R’d, in-house label of Berlin’s Berghain club, Pawlowitz has adopted a new moniker, The Traveller, a reference to his 2010 album of the same name. The evocatively titled A 100 EP is due out April 30 and features three dancefloor-focussed techno productions: ‘A 100’, ‘BER’ and ‘Bypass’.

It’s far from the first time that Pawlowitz has produced under a name other than Shed: in the past he’s released music as EQD, Head High, STP, Wax, WK7 and The Panamax Project.

Tracklist:
1. A 100
