Producers on your marks: download a set of vintage Korg synthesiser samples, courtesy of Legowelt

The website of Dutch synth king Legowelt has always been a treat.

Following various free albums, a free-to-download kit of Roland Juno 106 samples and shining a light on a ridiculously talented teenager, the former FACT mixer has uploaded a set of samples from his 1981 Korg Mono/Poly synthesizer.

As Legowelt puts it,  “After the Roland Juno 106 sample kit I am proud to present another 300 samples in wav format from my legendary cult all Analog 1981 Korg Mono/Poly synthesizer. Specially programmed for U…Juicy big Basses, Occult Space Pads, Interdimensional Arpeggios, Futuristic Synthetic Drums, Metaphysical Atmospheres and a lot more…………all ready to take your music into the next sphere of existence!

“Download your copy in a zip here and load them into your Tracker / Ableton / Fruity Loops / Reason / Electribe / ASR / MPC2000 / Amiga whatever u use and enter a fresh plain of unrestrained inspiration!”

Budding producers: you can download the set here, and if you’re feeling grateful, donate to Legowelt’s PayPal to show thanks. For those of you who still need convincing, you can hear a demonstration of some of the samples below.
