Mobb Deep reunite, plan international anniversary tour

The legendary Queens duo bury the hatchet after a regrettable Twitter beef.

Last year, a string of belligerent tweets from Havoc’s account attacked partner-in-crime Prodigy, mostly about the latter’s behavior while in prison. At the time, Havoc attributed the tweets to a lost phone, but later admitted to AllHipHop that he was behind the diatribe, noting that Mobb Deep was on indefinite hiatus.

It looks like the duo have been able to hash things out, as Mobb Deep will be performing at next month’s Paid Dues Festival in San Bernardino, California. Additionally, AllHipHop reports that the duo have plans for an international tour in celebration of their 20th anniversary that will begin in April.

Mobb Deep got their start back in 1993, releasing the album Juvenile Hell before finding success on the back of 1995′s The Infamous, featuring the hiphop classics ‘Shook Ones, Pt. 2′ and ‘Survival of the Fittest.’ Prodigy has announced a collaborative album with The Alchemist, while Havoc plans to independently release 13 this year.
