Mrs Carter continues her ascent to the top.

Since Beyoncé‘s brand new track is featured in Disney’s latest animated blockbuster Epic (in which she also lends her voice to one of the film’s characters), it was surely only a matter of time before sound clips would begin to emerge online, it is Beyoncé after all. One kind fan has obliged with some not-that-great footage of the film’s trailer, and while the quality might not be perfect we do get to hear a tantalizing few seconds of ‘Rise Up’, which the star co-wrote with Aussie singer Sia.

From what we can make out, it’s pretty much business as usual for Disney, but that’s a damn sight more interesting than Beyoncé’s difficult contribution to Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby, which FACT awarded a pitiful two out of ten. Take a listen to ‘Rise Up’ below [via NME].
