Earl Sweatshirt details Doris collaborators, including RZA, Pharrell, Frank Ocean, and more

The silver-tongued upstart enlists more than just Odd Future on his proper debut.

Due out on August 20, Earl Sweatshirt’s long-awaited Doris will feature Odd Future compatriots Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean, and Domo Genesis, OF-associates Vince Staples and Casey Veggies, along with RZA and Mac Miller. In addition, RZA, Tyler, the Creator, Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, Matt Martians, and BadBadNotGood contribute production on the record.

According to a press release, the album was named after Earl’s late grandmother and — as promised — finds the teenaged talent with “a stronger artistic focus and a more mature outlook on life” than he demonstrated on his early material.

A handful of the album’s 15 tracks have already premiered; the ultra minimal ‘Hive’ made its debut yesterday. The album’s annotated tracklist is below; for more on Earl, read FACT’s Hip-Hop In 2013…For Dummies list. [via Exclaim.ca]
