“Oh Slough, my kind of town.”

So here’s something out of the left field – Toro Y Moi (aka Chaz Bundick) has only gone and covered Ricky Gervais’s comedy song ‘Slough’, a song released recently by Gervais as a sort of comeback for The Office’s David Brent.

An ode to the mediocre Southern town, Bundick’s cover is straight-faced as he transforms the track into a Beatles-esque psychedelic jangler and actually makes you wish you could stop off in the alluring, mythical world of Slough. We’d call that a success.
