- Kevin Shields dons his tinfoil hat in an interview with The Guardian. It’s not Shields’ only conspiracy theory in recent weeks: Shields has suggested that his My Bloody Valentine’s mbv was barred from the Mercury Prize, on account of having been distributed independently.
