Palindromic electronica boffins To Rococo Rot stick their heads above the parapet.
Eight studio albums deep into their career, the German three-piece are pretty much the dons of brittle, digitally-enhanced post-rock. On their very best records (see 1999′s delicate The Amateur View), they strike a balance between Oval’s forensic electronics, and the widescreen vistas of older German forbears (Ashra Tempel, Cluster, et al).
