Soundsystem veteran Norman Jay pulls the plug on his inaugural Good Times in the Park festival.

Scheduled to take place at North London’s Wormwood Scrubs park on September 13-14, the Good Times in the Park Festival boasted an impressive line-up, including Carl Craig, Groove Armada, Maurice Fulton and Terry Farley. Unfortunately, the shindig has now been cancelled, due to “unforeseen technical difficulties”.

Jay released a statement via his Facebook page, which reads as follows:

“It is with enormous regret that DJ Norman Jay MBE and his Good Times team confirm that their Good Times in the Park festival scheduled for the 13th and 14th September in Wormwood Scrubs has had to be cancelled due to unforeseen technical difficulties. They hope that they’ll be able to continue to work closely with the authorities so that next year they can welcome you back for what promises to be their greatest adventure yet in the land of music and the biggest and best Good Times party ever.”

Head to the festival website for more information.
