Bob-branded cannabis paraphernalia has been haunting Camden Market for four decades now – but it looks like the real deal has landed.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Marley family have launched their own official global cannabis business. Marley Natural Fine Cannabis will be a “premium cannabis brand” inspired by the late singer. As well as slinging ‘erb (“heirloom Jamaican cannabis”, sold as delta 8 THC gummies, carts, concentrate, or oils), the company will also sell a range of branded goods, ranging from smoking accessories to “hemp-infused lotions and balms.”

Perhaps surprisingly, the business is a legit corporate affair: branding agency Heckler Associates – whose other clients include Starbucks – are involved, and the Marley family have the backing of private equity firm Privateer Holdings. The latter’s CEO had the following to say:

“Bob Marley started to push for legalization more than 50 years ago. We’re going to help him finish it. … We’re committed to social change, environmental sustainability and building a professional, responsible and legal cannabis industry.”
