Apple has reportedly completed its acquisition of the popular instrument and effect plug-in developer.

Award-winning Alchemy softsynth maker Camel Audio shut up shop at the end of last year, thanking fans for their continued support. According to Cupertino-focused news site MacRumors, the company has now been purchased by Apple.

MacRumors points to information found on corporate registry website Companies House as proof of  the acquisition. Camel Audio’s address has been changed to 100 New Bridge Street, the address of Apple’s London base, whilst the company’s sole director is now listed as Apple lawyer Heather Joy Morrison.

Apple has made no official announcement regarding the acquisition at this point. The tech goliath made 20 corporate acquisitions last year but rarely speaks publicly on them. [via MacRumors]
