Danger Mouse and DOOM’s 2005 collaboration is coming back on wax.

Lex Records is preparing a vinyl reissue of Danger Doom’s The Mouse and the Mask, the cartoon-inspired collaboration – and DOOM’s best selling record – featuring a million Adult Swim references and guests like Cee Lo Green, Talib Kweli and Ghostface Killah.

The vinyl pressing is a beauty, too – designed by EHQuestionmark, the outer sleeve is made from thick textured plastic with DOOM’s mask on the cover and mouse ears on each side, forming a pattern that looks like a Rorschach test. The inner sleeves are based on an Ishihara test, but the circles in the pattern are tiny icons depicting a different disasters, like climate change, acid rain and nuclear leaks.

The double LP arrives on May 25 from Lex Records. Check out The Essential… MF DOOM for more from the masked villain. [via Exclaim]
