Unfaithful Music & Disappearing Ink will be in stores this October.

Elvis Costello has announced he will release his memoir, Unfaithful Music & Disappearing Ink, this fall. The book has been called “unconventional” by publisher Penguin’s description, and will go into detail about Costello’s upbringing and reflections on his rise to popularity throughout the 70s punk scene and on into the MTV-era. It promises “anecdotes about family and fellow musicians” along with Costello’s stories about some of his most iconic songs.

The book will be available October 13. Revisit his 1978 album This Year’s Model below.
