Jamie xx and Four Tet collaborate on this weekend’s BBC Essential Mix.
The two have DJed together before, and have both contributed to the BBC’s long-running weekly mix series, but this marks the first time they’ve shared the decks on this prominent a stage. The show will be broadcast at 4am on Sunday morning.
According to Four Tet’s Twitter, the mix includes new music by Tyondai Braxton, Koreless, Throwing Snow, Wen and Percussions, as well as collaborations with Roots Manuva, Champion, Rome Fortune and Casey Rice.
