Jay Z’s Tidal platform has gone cold on the App Store.

The streaming service launched by the Roc-A-Fella boss alongside a high-profile group of equity-sharing artists has fallen out of the top 750 apps.

Tidal peaked at number 83 on April 7 following a much-hyped launch event that featured Alicia Keys, Daft Punk, Jack White, J. Cole, Jay Z, Kanye West, Deadmau5, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Usher and more.

Tidal currently sits at number 45 in the music category, seven spots behind rival streaming platform Rdio.

A Tidal spokesperson revealed that an upcoming intimate J. Cole concert was being planned for users who streamed the artist the most. This is one example of the company’s plans to grow the service.

Tidal has endured a difficult first month with the platform receiving heavy criticism from other artists. Tidal’s CEO also left the company, and its leader has resorted to personally calling subscribers. [via Billboard]
