The Japanese veteran returns.

Satoshi Tomiie is best know for 1989 house hit ‘Tears’, which he co-produced with the legendary Frankie Knuckles, and for his longtime association with Yellow Magic Orchestra composer Ryuichi Sakamoto.

While Tomiie has stayed busy with a full schedule of DJ gigs around the world, his output has slowed since his ’90s peak, with only a few singles and EPs following his 1999 album Full Lick. That changes next week, with the release of the appropriately-titled New Day: a dozen crisp tracks that explore house music, new and old, with Tomiie’s steady hand at the wheel.

Stream New Day in full below. The album is due out on June 22 via his newly launched Abstract Architecture imprint.
