More sustainable (and delicious) than vinyl?

Perhaps inspired by the obviously fake viral video that made rounds earlier this year, someone has devised a way to turn store bought flour tortillas into playable records.

Youtube user Rapture Records show the process off in a video that using a laser-etching machine which was able to cut grooves into the tortilla well enough to make it playable. Below you can watch the process in full which ends with a playing of the tortilla’s song. While you’d likely be returning the record if it sounded this way on vinyl, it’s surprisingly clear for flour.

The only downside: the laser-burning process apparently ruins the taste. Watch below and read their instructions to make your own here.
