Too WTF not to share.

Members of millennial boy band groups Backstreet Boys and ‘NSync will team for a “zombie Western futuristic horror movie” produced by The Asylum, the company behind “mockbusters” like Sharknado and Transmorphers.

Backstreet’s Nick Carter will write and star in the film, tentatively titled Dead 7, about a “ragtag band of gunslingers” operating during a post-apocalyptic zombie plague. Along with Carter, Backstreet Boys Howie Dorough and A.J. McClean and ‘NSync’s Joey Fatone have signed on; Carter is working on enlisting a “wish list” of musicians that also includes New Kid on the Block Jordan Knight. (Justin Timberlake is a long shot, at best).

The Asylum co-founder David Rimawi says that Carter, despite his lack of film experience, is “a giant horror movie fan and very talented individual.” He also was responsible for a 2000 Backstreet Boys comic book collaboration with Stan Lee — to say nothing of the video for ‘Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)’.
