Diane Charlemagne first emerged as the lead singer of British pop group Urban Cookie Collective before finding success as a vocalist for a variety of electronic artists.

She was the vocalist on Goldie’s ‘Inner City Life’ and ‘Kemistry’, and also collaborated with the likes of Satoshi Tomiie, High Contrast and Netsky.

Charlemagne died of cancer early this morning. Goldie confirmed the news on Twitter. [via RA]
