Skepta’s face in the frame.

Reuben Dangoor, the artist whose oil paintings imagine your fave grime MCs as historic British noblemen and officers, will show his work at London’s Tate Britain this week.

The paintings of Skepta, Stormzy and Dizzee Rascal will appear as part of Tate Britain’s late night series, which this week is all about “celebrity” and also features live music from odd-pop trio Joey Fourr, DJs from Reprezent Radio, a performance by poet Jemima Foxtrot and other events making use of the Tate’s collection.

Late at Tate Britain: Celebrity takes place at Tate Britain this Friday, December 4 – get the details from Tate. [via Noisey]
