The UK label’s first 12″ of 2016 comes from a new face.

There’s not much information available about Ploy, but he/she joins a rich history of Hessle Audio producers with google-unfriendly names (see also: Joe and Bruce, the TV talkshow duo that never quite was.)

The label describes Ploy’s Hessle debut as “fragile yet impactful music for dancefloors”, and there’s a lot to enjoy about it: ‘Helix’ recalls Actress’s inward-looking techno, while the bolshier ‘Sala One Five’ has more than a touch of Paul Ritch to it. There’s even white noise on ‘Move Yourself’, strictly for the burners.

It’s out February 19, clips below.
