Re-enter the Wu-Tang.

Wu-Tang Clan addressed Australia’s controversial lockout laws at a show in Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion last night.

“We heard y’all got some new crazy laws. We going to to get these laws changed for y’all,” RZA told the crowd, after declaring the group would have their after-party at Jam Gallery in Bondi Junction because of the laws.

A ban on new pub and club licenses in central Sydney was extended to 2017 earlier this month, after being brought in alongside the lockout laws in early 2014.

As well as restrictions on new licenses, patrons are unable to re-enter a venue after 1:30am, with last orders taking place at 3am.

How RZA plans to change things remains to be seen, but local opposition to the laws have been fierce, with the Keep Sydney Open campaign mobilising people to fight via an online petition.
