The Hackney Wick venue also hosts Moodcut and DJ Sonikku next month.

East London’s Stour Space Art Gallery will host five days of performances and DJ sets over the bank holiday weekend at the end of May.

The weekender will coincide with the opening of the gallery’s new bar overlooking the River Lea and the Olympic Stadium, and will be headlined by Modern Love duo Demdike Stare.

Joining the duo across the weekend are Lobster Theremin act Moodcut, Sega-inspired DJ Sonikku, the 10-piece London Afrobeat Collective and Afroquoi.

As well as the musical programming, the weekend will host exhibitions, film screenings, an arts market and pop-ups in sound engineering, spoken word and screenprinting.
